Book Review: Captain Underpants

Captain Underpants is a children’s novel series by America author and illustrator Dav Pilkey. The series revolves around two fourth graders, George Beard and Harold Hutchins, living in Pique Ohio, and Captain Underpants, an aptly named superhero from one of the boys’ homemade comic book. In the book, Captain Underpants accidentally becomes real when George and Harold hypnotizes Mr.Krupp and that was really bad. Ms. Ribble appears in the sixth book, and is still nice to her class. This what you should not do:

Snap your fingers near Mr.Krupp. You’re in big trouble because he’s hard to find.

Pour H20 on him, because then you are in DETENTION.

You should read the Captain Underpants series because…?

I think you should read Captain Underpants because the book is really funny and the 1st and 2nd books are the funniest books. You should really really read them for your life. Book Review : Kingdom of Hearts 1 & 2

A good book to get you started to love reading.

Kingdom of Hearts is about Sora, a futuristic boy that finds a key that compares life and death. The  key also come along with two friends that are from Disney. The two friends are Donald and Goofy who in this book are a wizard and knight.

In this book Sora must find his true destiny through a high seeking  adventure. Donald is the wizard that even though his a coward . Goofy is a knight that is not afraid to take a risk to protect his friends. Sora is a boy that knows he will face many challenges but he has the option of saving his friends even though it means he  might lose his life. Donald is a duck that can make a lot of things happen but when it comes to fighting he is a wimp.  Now, that is just the beginning of this amazing book.

Why you should read it

You should read this book because it is a great start to loving books. This book is the reason that I started to love reading. Reading is one of the best things I ever learned to do.This book is amazing.

Book Review: We Beat The Streets

Hey guys i’m back with another book review and today we’re doing We Beat The Streets.

We Beat The Streets is a book about these three people that share a freindship with each other and become doctors. Sampson Davis, George Jenkins, and Rameck Hunt are their names. In this book it demonstrates the obstacles they had to overcome from jail, murder, growing up in the hood, and all kinds of things like that.

This book involves storys told by these doctors. This book might even be an inspiration to people who are in the hood and want to get through life. This book for sure will bring joy to people who enjoy books with diffrent plots or storys.

Overall, this book is pretty amazing and I’d rate this book a 8 just because of the fact that this doesn’t involve all of the really major details in their but either way this book is fine. There’s also another book in the series named “The Pact” and is for mature people.

Book Review: Bone

Bone: Out from Boneville

Bone is about these 3 cousins that aren’t necessarily humans. They were run out of town and separated. Now they’ve regrouped, and their main objective is to find Boneville.

During their time being separated, the book’s plot was more focused on Fonebone, one of the cousins. The path that Fonebone choose was in, my perspective, very helpful. He met different creatures, and all these different groups of people.

Overall, I think this book is great but I wish there were more interesting quests that Fonebone could follow to bring him to Boneville. This is still a great book. I’d actually reccommend this book to people who really enjoy graphic novels.

Book Review: Diary of a Wimpy Kid

I think you should read the Diary of a Wimpy kid series because it is fun, funny, and exciting, and sometimes it can remind you of your own life. You can get lost in the story, and I mean that you forget about everything and focus on the book. Greg is the story’s main character. He is lazy, and he is always bored. Rowley is Greg’s  best friend. He acts like a baby, and he gets all the attention from his parents because he is an only child. Rodrick is Greg’s older brother. He is a teenager, and he is part of a band called the loded dipper but it is pronounced “the loaded diaper”. Holly Hill is a girl that Greg likes, who is in Greg’s classes. Fregley is the creep of the story. He always does and says disgusting and weird things.

Again, you should read the Diary of a wimpy kid series because it keeps you occupied and it is something to do if you’re down, mad, or frustrated. It makes you forget about everything that’s happening, and all that is on your mind. You should also read it because it lights up your day.

Book Review: Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters

Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters is a book you should read. You should read this book because it is exciting and adventurous.  In the book, Percy and Annabeth go to save Grover in the Sea of Monsters. The Sea of Monsters is a place where monsters live, and anybody who goes there will likely be attacked. While Percy and Annabeth were in the Sea of Monsters about to save Grover, the monster that was holding Grover hostage attacked them.

Personally, I think that Percy is better than everyone in the book because he is strong and smart and makes good decisions. Percy is a demigod, and the son of Poseidon. He realized that he was the son of Poseidon when he noticed he could control water. Annabeth is also a demigod, and she is the daughter of Athena. Grover is half human and half horse, and studies under the master.

After getting the golden fleece for Thalia’s tree, they returned to camp and they placed the fleece on her tree and the poison was cleared. At the end, Percy and Annabeth got the golden fleece and saved the camp.

Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters is a thrilling adventure. You should definitely read it.
