OUR JOURNEY THROUGH JOURNALISM

BY TRISTON AND TORRAE SWINDELL

Journalism class is every subject, but expressing yourself through complete paragraphs. Like my Nintendo character countdown, our happiness posts, or the why Six Flags is awesome post. I don’t care what you like, just write it down and own it like you actually mean it. –Torrae Swindell

I think journalism class is an activity when you can express your feelings about what you like. You can be 100% honest. Journalism is my favorite class because because you can put your thoughts to work. –Triston Swindell

Favorite Quote of the Week

In journalism class, every week we have a “quote of the week.” The reason we have these quotes is because they teach us lessons. Our favorite quote is “when anger rises, think of the consequence.” This is a very important quote. It teaches you to not get in trouble in life. We like this quote because when you get angry and you don’t think about what is going to happen, you end up doing something that gets you in big trouble and you will end up regretting later. If somebody talks about your mom, picks on you, or bullies you, tell a teacher instead of hitting them. Think of the consequence, don’t let your anger rise.
